It’s 5:27am on a Tuesday and I just realized I dropped the ball when it came to Blogmas this year. I tried to keep the streak going but with finals and all, it was quite difficult. So as per usual and just like last year, I am giving up on Blogmas after one week of barely making the cutoff each night.

I think I’ll use some of those topics in future posts, just not all in the month of December. It was driving me crazy trying to get all those posts done that I ended up not going much at all. So why stress myself out when it’s one of the busiest times of year?

I am up this early because I have not one, but two job interviews today. I have one phone interview with a local unionized grocery store for their grocery position and then an in person interview for a social services assistant position at a health and rehab place. I don’t care which one I get, hopefully I get one though of the two.

The retail job would be nice because I could start immediately and get paid weekly. The other job is in my wheel house as part of my university major. So there’s pluses and minuses on both sides of the field. If I somehow got both jobs, I would take whatever paid more and had more hours.

My interview (the first one) doesn’t start until 10am so I am up wayyyyyy too early. But I fixed myself a bowl of cereal and decided writing would be a productive use of my time before falling back asleep.
