I posted my very first blog post on February 10th, 2020 and not even 8 months later, I somehow wound up with 100 followers?! Without you guys, there wouldn’t be a blog… well, let me rephrase that. There would be a blog, but it wouldn’t have the meaning it has to me now without all of you.
It’s all about reading your comments that keep me going. I love hearing about your adversities and struggles that I can totally empathize with and relate to. A lot of it is mental health related and some religion related, and I love it all. It makes me feel that my writing is worthwhile and is hopefully impacting you in a positive way.
I put a lot of time into this blog, into figuring out topics and what to write. Most days I can go through the writing process from idea to published in 2 hours. Other days, like today, it takes 8. I was starting to lose motivation and purpose towards this blog because I began to wonder if it made a difference in anyone’s lives.
Today after a long blogging day, I noticed a notification on my WordPress account and what do I see? One new like and one new follower; the icing on the cake to make 100 followers total! It made me ecstatic to know that my purpose had never left, it was right in front of me this whole time.
Thank you to each and every one of you, from the bottom of my heart. I am thrilled to have you here if you just followed me today or you’ve been here since the beginning.
Much love,
Dani
Congrats on this milestone! You seem to have quality content, and that’s what’s going to keep drawing people to your site. Am wishing you many thousands more followers to come 🙂
