castles on uneven ground are good for nothing
I made my sand castle on uneven ground and
before I could say hello, I said goodbye
Beautiful in color, seemingly sound in implication
I fill my buckets of sand and sea water
when I kick over what fails to stand on its own
I ruin my own perfection
tearing down what isn’t good to me
I fill my body with poison
beautiful in features, seemingly sound
before I could say hello, I said goodbye
Without a solid foundation, my castle no longer sits
She is dancing along grains of sand in-between the waves.
