Day 1 of the Blogmas challenge. For those of you who are new to my channel or are new to this blogging challenge, we blog everyday up to and including Christmas Day. Usually the topics are holiday related, some of mine will be, and some won’t be. It just depends on the niche of your blog. The important thing is that you are blogging consistently and that you are having fun!
I will be starting with my Dear Santa letter. I think the last time that I wrote a Dear Santa letter was last year. Let me rephrase that. I do not believe in Santa. However at the time, I was working with an autistic gal and at 14 she believed in Santa, so as a little holiday break activity during her winter break, (I was her behavior assistant) we wrote our own holiday letters. I couldn’t tell her that I didn’t believe in Santa so I went along and joined the fun and honestly it was a lot more fun that way.
So in good Blogmas and Christmas spirit, I shall begin with my Christmas list for Santa and a good old letter.
Dear Santa,
Today is December 1st of 2021. How are you doing around this time of year? I bet you are quite busy with all the tasks of present making and giving for all the boys and girls all over the world! But then again, this definitely isn’t your first time around the globe! May I ask how old you are, Santa?
I am 23 years old this year and I think overall I have been a good girl this year. I had a couple of mishaps early this year, but I have all the good intentions anyone could ever ask for. I remember asking for Diego, my boyfriend, to propose to me for Christmas and that you would provide him with the engagement ring. I guess that had some ill timing and was a little selfish of me… As I’ve aged, I think I have become a little wiser and a little smarter.
To refresh your memory (I know you know when I am sleeping or awake, bad or good, etc.) I have quit gambling as of September 14, 2020, I have been good with budgeting and doing good with my relationship with Diego. I have been working hard and I think I am about to be on honor roll at college this semester! I have been kind and generous to my parents and to those in need.
I think that scores me a good score on the naughty or nice list. But I will let you determine that. I intend to leave out some milk and cookies for you, Santa and leave out some carrots for the reindeer.
If I had a choice in what I get for Christmas, I would like some dog toys for my puppy named Poncho. He is a little rascal, but overall a very good doggo. He likes to tear things up because he is so playful, so I would like to give him something to play with and have fun.
Hope this reaches you well and you have a good Christmas.
Thanks and God bless.
Love,
Dani
