Mission (Nearly) Impossible: Dani Goes Back to School

Hello and greetings, readers! I have been on a mission as of lately to accumulate funds to go back to college and earn my degree! With your help and help from many others, I will be able to attend community college to finish my first year of prerequisites and then I will be applying as a transfer student in March 2021 to University of Washington – Tacoma as a sophomore for the Autumn 2021 term.

Below I have my Facebook fundraiser biography for why I need funds and what I will be doing with these funds exactly. That biography is as follows:

“I am raising funds to head back to college. My hope at the moment is to receive my MSW to become a social worker to bring more awareness to bipolar disorder and various other mental health issues. The plan as of right now is to take the SAT December 5th, 2020 and do one more quarter at community college (two classes) and then I will have my freshman year complete, and only five more years to go! In March 2021, I will be applying to University of Washington – Tacoma to receive my Bachelor’s in Social Welfare and then once I receive my Bachelor’s, I hope to receive my Master’s in Social Work from the same school. With all that being said, I need help from YOU, my friends and family. Whether it be fiscal help, emotional support, or other resources, I would appreciate all the help I can get during this time as I pursue my passion. God has been putting social work on my heart for the past four years ever since I was diagnosed Bipolar in 2016 and I am called to be a resource and a comfort to others whom also struggle with mental health issues. I am currently unemployed, looking for work, but would love to pursue school and to pursue the passion that God has for me. Any help, likes, shares, comments, and emotional support, and prayers are much appreciated. Thank you and God bless you.”

With all that being said, I need your help, my readers. If you can help, please do so. If you can share my story or my adversity, please do so, even if you can’t help financially. It would mean the world to me if you helped in whatever way you can. If you would like me to write you letters or email you with updates in my schooling endeavors, I would be more than happy to do so. You can donate above or below. I can give my Venmo, Cash app, and Facebook pay information if you would like to contribute to me directly via email. All I truly ask for is prayers and emotional support as I apply for grants and scholarships to attend school, so that I don’t have to take out too many student loans.

Thank you much and God bless.

Much love,
