Long Time, No Write.

It feels like thirty years since I last posted here on Precarious Aquarius. Maybe in another life, it has been thirty years. But I just checked and it had only been about two weeks. Which is still sad considering I’ve missed writing, but just didn’t have a lot to say as I am navigating my 5+ class work load at the local community college and rage quitting my job minus the rage and mania has been back to play so that’s been interesting….

Yesterday my most beloved possession, my 2020 MacBook Pro finally was sold for parts because the fan would run nonstop and the black screen of the death was quickly approaching which led me to purchase with the help of my boyfriend a new MacBook Air! Well it’s the M2 chip, the 2022 version and it is so much faster than my Pro ever was so I am delighted. It’s in midnight black and it is so pretty. So this is my first blog post from this new clickity clacky keyboard. I’m low key obsessed.

Yesterday was also a manic day and I was up from 3am onwards getting shit done with my head cut off like a chicken. But today I am paying for it all because I am sick as a dog. My throat is so swollen and the nasal drip is a whole thing. I can’t take DayQuil anymore because it makes me hallucinate and I can’t take liquid NyQuil because of the “alcohol” as far as treatment goes. So I’m roughing it with Tylenol and it is so bad that I barely even want to smoke which that is saying something.

I hit 8 months sober on the 17th so that is an accomplishment within itself. Just moving on up in the world.

I had two interviews with two different Christian businesses, one being a youth homeless shelter and the other helping struggling youth in the community at a fitness center. I had my second interview with the latter job and waiting to hear back and I am waiting on the shelter job to give me a second interview. So I am remaining hopeful about it all.

I gotta go lay down I am exhausted.

Dani
